Replication strategy

Hello:This is my situation. My company have a pyramidal structure i.e, one central office, 20 regional offices and 500 branch offices. Branch offices belongs to one specific regional office.Operative databases are local to each branch office.Actually We have one central server (at the central office) acting as publisher and distributor (transactional push replication) for one single database. The publication contains tables that are periodically updated centrally (almost daily) and replicated directly from central server to all branch offices. To lighten the administration and monitoring of the replica and the resources of of the central server we are thinking about creating a publication at the central server and subscribe to it only servers at regional offices (20 servers), and at the regional servers create an analog publication for all the branch offices related to them.¿Is this approach correct?¿Can one server act as subscriber, publisher and distributor of the same tables?.Regards,Phil
